Our Story

Every journey has a beginning.

Ours began with a piece of land and a growing appreciation for the incredible stories hidden beneath its surface.

Our property sits on the same fault line as the world famous Diamond Hill Mine. Unlike a traditional mining site, our land remains largely untouched, with deep ravines and natural formations that reveal a fascinating glimpse into the earth's past. As we explored the property, we discovered crystals tucked away within the landscape, layers of natural clay, and petrified wood that had been transformed and preserved over countless years.

The more we learned, the more we realized that these discoveries were connected by a common thread.

They all came from the matrix.

A matrix is the environment in which something forms, develops, or grows. It is the foundation that makes creation possible.

The clay is part of the matrix.

The crystals are hidden within the matrix.

The petrified wood is formed through the processes that occur within the matrix.

This simple but powerful idea inspired the name The Master's Matrix.

For us, the name reflects more than geology. It reflects our faith.

As followers of Christ, we believe that the beauty and complexity found in nature deserve recognition.
